Volunteering at Home

If you’re interested in volunteering with JRS Ireland, please download the volunteer applications form from the Resource Centre. The process of recruitment and selection of volunteers is outlined in this document.

Vacancies Overseas

Opportunities for working with JRS internationally are coordinated through the JRS International Office in Rome. JRS has over 1000 Jesuits, religious and laypeople working with them worldwide. Opportunities to work overseas with JRS are advertised on the JRS International Website.

Jesuit Refugee Service

The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic non-governmental organisation, founded in 1980. Its mission is to accompany, advocate and serve the cause of refugees and forcibly displaced persons worldwide. It operates at national and regional levels, with the support of an international office in Rome.
