JRS Ireland is currently looking for volunteers for the following: Homework Club in Clondalkin Towers Accomodation Centre: Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3 to 5pm. This involves helping children with their homework and then playing games with them.
Computer Class: JRS Ireland offers a computer class to train asylum seekers, refugees and migrants for ECDL. We are currently looking for volunteers to facilitate this class for two hours per week. Summer Programme: Every summer JRS Ireland organises a Summer Programme of activities for children living in Direct Provision Centres in Dublin City and County. Volunteers are needed for approximately 6-8 weeks for a few hours a week to help with the activities and accompany the children and their families to the events. *Volunteers working with children will be expected to meet the requirements set out in the JRS Ireland Child Protection Policy.
Vacancies Overseas Opportunities for working with JRS internationally are coordinated through the JRS International Office in Rome.
