JRS 2010 Intercultural & Interfaith Calendar

The calendar is aimed at raising awareness of diversity in Ireland, and each month it highlights religious feast days from different faiths, national days, international UN celebrations and bank holidays in the Republic of Ireland. A brief guide outlining the principle teachings of each of the religions whose festivals are marked in the calendar is included.

Each month is themed by a JRS Ireland Integration Fact. These facts, which highlight key asylum statistics and immigration data, provide a context for the wider integration challenges and opportunities that arise for refugees, migrants and their families in Irish society.

This calendar is an excellent resource for people who wish to raise awareness and understanding of intercultural and interfaith issues in Ireland. It could provide an ideal Christmas present and the proceeds will be used to support the projects and service of the JRS Ireland in Dublin and Limerick.  Each Calendar costs €5 (plus €2 postage & packing).
